Crawford County PA Government Crawford County Human Services provides intake and case management services for substance abuse Mental Health, Intellectual Disabilities and Children and Youth Services to the citizens in our community. The Human Services Department also contracts with a variety of Mental Health, Intellectual Disabilities and Children and Youth Providers. Our goal is to assure each person we serve has timely access to services, which are provided in a manner that empowers each individual and family to maintain a healthy and stable lifestyle.

Provides directly or makes available a full array of drug and alcohol services including prevention, case management, assessment, client advocacy, treatment, and recovery services. All levels of treatment are available including outpatient, inpatient, detoxification, halfway house and hospital care for the more seriously ill. Special tracks are provided for adolescent, dually diagnosed, forensic and female clients. Children and adolescents may also be provided with services and do not need the consent of their parents to participate.

We are part of Area 60, which covers the entire western half of Pennsylvania. Alcoholics Anonymous is an international fellowship of men and women who have had a drinking problem. It is nonprofessional, self-supporting, multiracial, apolitical, and available almost everywhere. There are no age or education requirements. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about his or her drinking problem
